Jermaine H. White,  III, MBA – STAR Academy

Thank you very much for coming to STAR Academy.  Your message was timely and very needed for our young people. I can’t tell you how many of our students are still talking about the assembly and how “cool” it was to see those athletes speak about what it takes to be successful.

If there is anything that I can ever help you with, please consider it already done!

Sincerely Standing Out,

Dir. Student Support Serv. /Craven County Schools

We are SO excited to be approved to work with Roman Gabriel and Sold Out. I have talked to other counties and they seem to love this program.  The follow up is the best part.  Kids can continue to have access to resources 24/7 with the website.  I also like that the online pledge is more of a “personal commitment” and allows for follow up with the student to encourage and support them along the way. So many programs have an assembly, get kids to pledge and then it’s over and forgotten.  This is different.

Debbie L Hodges- Director of Student Support Services / Craven County Schools

Zachary – Thomasville High School

I think that this is an amazing program and I’m proud to now be apart of this!

Zachary – Thomasville High School

Public Affairs Assistant – Onslow County Schools

I believe Roman conveys important messages to our youth, in addition to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol. His presentation connects with students’ and gets their attention through the use of video, music and lots of sports analogies. I am a firm believer, even if he’s spoken to thousands of students, if he reaches just one and sets them on the right path, I would deem the program successful.  His online 365 Sold Out Follow Up program will provide them with support after he leaves.

Suzie Ulbrich, Public Affairs Assistant – Onslow County Schools

David C. Burleson – Superintendent, Avery County schools

We are thankful for your concern for the Avery County Schools and are appreciative of the lessons you have taught us. In a time when it seems that many people have given up on public education, it is refreshing to see that there are still those in our society who understand that the future of our country rests in the hands of our young people and in the schools that prepare them to be future leaders.  I look forward to using your videos to assist our students.
