Brittany – Triton High School

Thank you so much for coming to my school. I have learned from experience that I don’t need alcohol to make myself feel better and when I’m down I have learned that to take to someone is better than having a drink. I love my family and life to much to give it up for one cool night.

Brittany – Triton High School

Public Affairs Assistant – Onslow County Schools

I believe Roman conveys important messages to our youth, in addition to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol. His presentation connects with students’ and gets their attention through the use of video, music and lots of sports analogies. I am a firm believer, even if he’s spoken to thousands of students, if he reaches just one and sets them on the right path, I would deem the program successful.  His online 365 Sold Out Follow Up program will provide them with support after he leaves.

Dir. Student Support Serv. /Craven County Schools

We are SO excited to be approved to work with Roman Gabriel and Sold Out. I have talked to other counties and they seem to love this program.  The follow up is the best part.  Kids can continue to have access to resources 24/7 with the website.  I also like that the online pledge is more of a “personal commitment” and allows for follow up with the student to encourage and support them along the way. So many programs have an assembly, get kids to pledge and then it’s over and forgotten.  This is different.

Debbie L Hodges- Director of Student Support Services / Craven County Schools

Whit Bradham – Principal, Coats-Erwin Middle School

Outstanding assembly!  Thanks for helping make a difference in the lives of our young people. We look forward to working with you in the future.

-Whit Bradham – Principal, Coats-Erwin Middle School

” Roman (Sold Out ) began a partnership with Wlikes County Schools in the fall of 2012. Roman captivated the student audiences ( all 4 middle schools) with personal experiences and life stories of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. As a result around 70% of middle school students pledged to be accountable to their teachers, coaches, and parents ! ”
-Westley Wood – Director of Student Services / Wilkes County Schools
