“Thank you for all you do, my daughter is in Avery Middle school and when Sold Out is there that is always the very first thing she comes and tells us. I believe it is having an impact on some students and I hope it continues in the future…God bless and keep up the great work.”

Jermaine H. White,  III, MBA – STAR Academy

Thank you very much for coming to STAR Academy.  Your message was timely and very needed for our young people. I can’t tell you how many of our students are still talking about the assembly and how “cool” it was to see those athletes speak about what it takes to be successful.

If there is anything that I can ever help you with, please consider it already done!

Sincerely Standing Out,
Jermaine H. White,  III, MBA – STAR Academy – Harnett County School System

David Tyree, Former NY Giants Super Bowl Champion

“Whether it is character, family, or football Roman can relate to and properly share these stories of men who quietly leave a legacy that does not seek recognition or fame. The selfless attributes that Sold Out represents will cause many to understand why football is Americas favorite sport.”
-David Tyree, Former NY Giants Super Bowl Champion

Dir. Student Support Serv. /Craven County Schools

We are SO excited to be approved to work with Roman Gabriel and Sold Out. I have talked to other counties and they seem to love this program.  The follow up is the best part.  Kids can continue to have access to resources 24/7 with the website.  I also like that the online pledge is more of a “personal commitment” and allows for follow up with the student to encourage and support them along the way. So many programs have an assembly, get kids to pledge and then it’s over and forgotten.  This is different.

Debbie L Hodges- Director of Student Support Services / Craven County Schools

Kimberly Bennett – Teacher STAR Academy

I loved your presentation today. I am a teacher not a student, but I still want to take the pledge to be alcohol and drug abstinent so that I can be a successful leader and role model for my students and my family! Thank you so much for sharing your message with our students today!

Kimberly Bennett – Teacher STAR Academy

Brittany – Triton High School

Thank you so much for coming to my school. I have learned from experience that I don’t need alcohol to make myself feel better and when I’m down I have learned that to take to someone is better than having a drink. I love my family and life to much to give it up for one cool night.

Brittany – Triton High School

David C. Burleson – Superintendent, Avery County schools

We are thankful for your concern for the Avery County Schools and are appreciative of the lessons you have taught us. In a time when it seems that many people have given up on public education, it is refreshing to see that there are still those in our society who understand that the future of our country rests in the hands of our young people and in the schools that prepare them to be future leaders.  I look forward to using your videos to assist our students.
David C. Burleson – Superintendent, Avery County schools

Sara A. Brewer GM High Country ABC Board

” The High Country Municipal ABC Board has been a sponsor of ” Sold Out” for two years. The program targets students levels of self esteem and self worth along with school, drugs, alcohol, bullying, etc. We have been pleased with the positive feedback about this program within the school system, Superintendent David Burleson, and Avery County Schools. The ” Sold Out” program is reaching a large number of grade school, middle school, and high school students.”
-Sara A. Brewer  GM High Country ABC Board

Jeffrey L. Hudson – County Manager, County of Onslow

“This has made my week!  Thank you for all you continue to do!  God Bless You!”

-Jeffrey L. Hudson – County Manager, County of Onslow

Public Affairs Assistant – Onslow County Schools

I believe Roman conveys important messages to our youth, in addition to remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol. His presentation connects with students’ and gets their attention through the use of video, music and lots of sports analogies. I am a firm believer, even if he’s spoken to thousands of students, if he reaches just one and sets them on the right path, I would deem the program successful.  His online 365 Sold Out Follow Up program will provide them with support after he leaves.

Suzie Ulbrich, Public Affairs Assistant – Onslow County Schools

Superintendent-Carteret County Schools

I thought he (Mr. Gabriel) really connected with the students and what he shared will help them as they go forward.
